I am a Lebanese/Dutch video artist
with an upbringing in Egypt.

My work is a concoction of tenderness,
hybrid being, and carefully curated rage.

Currently I am working with themes of
re-appropriated/reparative imagery,
digital memorials and artifacts,
and feelings of responsibility.

I am a Lebanese/Dutch video artist with an upbringing in Egypt. I often work within the field of performative-documentary; an ambiguous space between documentary video and performance art. I create poetic, expressive, and often non-narrative pieces. My video art centers around my own intimate experiences, the feeling of “otherness”, and socio-political topics in the MENA region. I try to communicate rawness, turmoil and carefully curated rage.

I am a Lebanese/Dutch video artist with an upbringing in Egypt.
